CPCS is the lead firm in this ongoing Transport Canada study of the multimodal transport system in Atlantic Canada, its freight and passenger flows, and related issues. The aim of this study is to identify solutions for improving the flow of international freight and passengers movements through Atlantic Canada. For this assignment, CPCS is leading a multidisciplinary team to analyse and map current and forecasted freight and passenger flows for each infrastructure mode (marine, rail, rail and road), assessing Atlantic Gateway infrastructure capacity and constraints, and identifying infrastructure and operational solutions to improve the competitiveness of the Atlantic Gateway. The final report for this study includes a discussion of PPP options for Atlantic Gateway infrastructure investments. |
