The Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) desired to appoint a consultant to prepare Specifications, Tender Documents and Request for Proposals (RFP) to enable SRO select a suitable contractor through international competitive bidding for the design, execution and commissioning of an integrated New Workshop Complex at Dammam. In November 2005, CPCS was chosen to help SRO with preparation of tender documents. The project began in December 2005 with a site visit by the project team with the purpose of studying constraints, land viability, land topography and structures to be demolished. CPCS completed following tasks:
