CPCS was engaged to assess the competitiveness of the Port of Halifax as a gateway to the US Midwest, particularly Chicago and Memphis. This assignment involved traffic data analysis with the support of trade data provider Centradex and third-party logistics provider Panalpina. It assessed Halifax’s competitiveness in terms of transit time, door-to-door cost, and reliability, relative to other East Cost gateways serving the same markets.   |
