ROADS

CPCS has been active in the roads sector for over a decade. Initially, our expertise was focused on issues related to engineering planning, design, construction supervision, operations and maintenance.  Over the past several years, our focus has grown from engineering consulting to include economic and management consulting services.

We have developed particularly strong capabilities in the development of financing options and instruments designed to augment existing methods of raising funds, enhance government capability to draw on private sector funds, and form public-private partnerships (PPPs).

CPCS has been instrumental in advising many governments in the most appropriate investment plans for their road, port or railway services based on the Government’s objectives, the financial position and the market.

CPCS continues to help public sector clients and international financial
institutions maximize the value of their road infrastructure initiatives by
providing consulting services in the area of road infrastructure strategy and PPPs.

Two key components of CPCS’s Roads Practice are as follows.

Road Infrastructure Planning & Strategy
  • Highway infrastructure planning & strategy
  • Economic assessments & traffic forecasts
  • Road project feasibility analysis
  • Policy & regulatory assessments

Private Sector Participation in Road Sector

  • PPP & privatization management support
  • Transaction advisory services
  • Establishment of road investment funds
  • Implementation support
